Around the world series #14

Around the corner from Italy and the Mediterranean sea is a land known for its diverse landscapes, from the Southern Alps and Camargue plains to rolling vineyards, olive groves, pine forests and lavender fields.

This is Provence, a spectacular piece of this earth in South eastern France. A place to enjoy charming and relaxed long lunches on shady terraces as you hear the cicadas chirping on the branches of olive trees. The brilliant blue sky forms the perfect backdrop for the fields of lavender that spread out endlessly towards distant mountains with odd cypress trees posing to make for a perfect photo opportunity.

As the delicate smell of lavender fills the air, you will not be able to not fall in love, even if you try.

Go, fall in love
